a scene from another world so to say it shows some different Flowering Stones but no carnivorous plants though
this artwork is actually just an experiment but its characteristics and particularly the colours are typical for my style

a closer look to some details
unfortunately the scan is not so good, colours, tonal values and contrast are noticeably different to the original and the possibilities to correct them all in Photoshop are limited

the two biggest Lithops
these two species are invented - though the right one resembles a little Lithops gracilidelineata ssp. gracilidelineata 'café au lait'
don´t ask me because of the meaning of the title of this painting, it was a spontaneous idea and I like its Spanish pronounciation; corrallón does not have a meaning, it may just be the location; and barranco means gorge
