No, no, nothing yet. Just to inform that I've finally gotten around preparing the substrate (half-half peat-perlite) and am soaking the seeds as I write this.
Tomorrow I'll sow all 20 seeds into one pot and put the pot (19cm (7.5 inch) diameter, 15.5cm (6 inch) tall) into my terrarium (day-temp 30°C/86F, night-temp 20°C/68F, day-humidity ~65%, night-humidity over 90%).
Lights used: 2 x 6500K, 2 x 4000K, 39W each.

Watch this space.

To be honest i wouln't put them all in one pot together. Just put 3 or 4 seeds per pot, they aren't keen on being moved around as seedlings, it takes very little for them to keel over so it's best to not put too many together.

Then would you be better off  just sowing a few? that way if anything goes wrong, you have more to try again.

Edit-  Ah already soaked, you have reached the point of no return. What size is the pot you have prepared? could you do two smaller pots? That would be better than all in a single pot.

Hmm, smaller pots would also mean less place for the roots, and who knows how many of the 20 seeds will germinate..I think I'll just sow them all and see what happens. If eventually the pot gets too crowded, I can easily take some leaf cuttings, roots with 80-90% success rate, according to Brian.
The size of the pot prepared is 19cm (7.5 inch) in diameter, and 15.5cm (6 inch) tall.

Must say, I think it's the Byblis seeds that have germinated....but not entirely sure yet...could be weeds too.  :rolleyes2:

Very cool, now I can say, beyond the shadow of any doubt, the first seed germinated after 5 days, prior to a 24h soak in GA3.

Hmm...not sure what's going wrong. Only two seeds germinated, one sort of lost its color and dried up. The other seems to be losing its color now too...what am I doing wrong?

Hey Amar,

Those could have possibly been early risers, so to speak, unless you let them get too cold while at such a tender stage. Don't give up yet, sometimes they take a while to germinate.

Patience young man....patience!  :D

Well, the other plantlet died too. I wonder if the 30°C just bakes them away?  :(

Amar,

Try keeping them a little cooler...you may be blasting them a little too much, at least until they are a little more established... ;)

75-80 F seems to be perfect germination temps in my conditions though. Also, a sharp drop in humidity will shrivel them up too at such a tender age.

Definitely cooler now, around 25°C....absolutely no signs of germination yet...
